Living Area Renovation
The original room was carpet, a wood-slat divider wall, and furniture arranged around the television — comfortable, dated, and closed in. The demo photos show the room taken back to its shell: carpet and slat wall gone, plywood subfloor swept clean, walls patched and primed, ready to become one continuous space.
New hardwood now runs the full length, from the front of the living room through the dining area to the sunroom opening. A cedar beam dresses the ceiling transition where the divider wall used to stand — keeping the line the room's structure wants without putting a wall back. A lantern pendant centers the dining area, and fresh paint and trim finish it.
The after photos show what the floor plan was hiding: one long, light room where there used to be two cramped ones, with sight lines from the front window clear through the bay-window sunroom at the back.
