FAQ

We know that hiring a contractor is a big decision. Here are answers to some of the questions homeowners ask us most often. If you don't see your question here, don't hesitate to contact us.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Catalino Quality Construction is a fully licensed and insured general contractor. We carry both liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage, so you can have complete peace of mind throughout your project.

Do you offer free estimates?

Absolutely. We provide free, no-obligation estimates for all of our services. Just give us a call at (404) 919-8843 or fill out our contact form to schedule a visit.

What areas do you serve?

We serve homeowners in Marietta, Roswell, Kennesaw, Smyrna, Acworth, and the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. Visit our service areas page for the full list. If you're unsure whether your location is covered, reach out and we'll let you know.

How long does a typical remodeling project take?

Timelines vary depending on the scope of work. A bathroom remodel might take one to three weeks, while a full kitchen renovation or home addition could take several weeks to a few months. During your estimate, we'll provide a realistic timeline tailored to your specific project.

Do I need to be home during the work?

Not necessarily. Many of our clients continue their daily routines while we work. We'll coordinate access and scheduling with you ahead of time, and we always keep the work area clean and secure.

What types of projects do you handle?

We offer a wide range of residential remodeling and construction services, including kitchen and bathroom remodels, flooring, painting, decks, home additions, concrete work, electrical, plumbing, and much more. Visit our services page for a full list or browse our project gallery to see examples of our work.

How do I get started?

Getting started is easy. Call us at (404) 919-8843 or email us. We'll schedule a time to visit your home, discuss your vision, and provide a detailed estimate.

Do you use subcontractors?

We have a core team that handles most of our work directly. For specialized trades like electrical or plumbing, we bring in licensed subcontractors we've worked with for years. Robert personally oversees every aspect of the project regardless of who's on site.

Do you handle permits?

Yes. We pull all required permits and schedule inspections as part of every project that needs them. You shouldn't have to navigate the permitting process on your own — that's part of what you're hiring a general contractor for.

Do you provide written contracts and estimates?

Absolutely. Every project begins with a detailed written estimate, and we don't start work without a signed contract that spells out the scope, timeline, and cost. No surprises.

What happens if something goes wrong during the project?

We carry full liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for exactly this reason. If an unexpected issue comes up — whether it's hidden water damage behind a wall or a material delay — we communicate immediately and work with you on a solution before moving forward.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept checks, bank transfers, and major credit cards. Payment schedules are outlined in your contract, typically broken into milestones tied to project progress.
