Interior Painting
Interior painting refreshes living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and ceilings. Our process: move and protect furniture, mask floors and trim, repair drywall imperfections, prime patched areas, cut in edges with a brush, roll walls with appropriate nap, and apply two coats unless covering a dramatic color change (which sometimes needs three). We use premium paint products from Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore because they hold up, cover cleanly, and look as good in five years as they do on day one.
Exterior Painting
Exterior painting protects your home from Georgia's sun, humidity, and pop-up thunderstorms. Proper exterior prep includes pressure washing, scraping loose paint, sanding rough edges, replacing any rotted wood (we handle this in-house — see our home repair page), caulking gaps at trim and seams, and priming bare wood with a bonding primer before two finish coats. We paint hardiplank, wood siding, brick (where appropriate), stucco, soffits, fascia, and trim.
Cabinet, Trim, and Specialty Painting
We also handle specialty painting projects: kitchen cabinet refinishing (sand, degrease, prime, spray-finish), interior trim repaints (carefully cut against new wall colors), front-door refinishing, and deck and railing staining or painting. Each requires different prep and product selection — cabinets need bonding primer and durable finish; deck stains need penetrating oil-based or modern hybrid formulations.

How long does interior house painting take?
A typical single room (12x14 ft, walls and trim) takes one to two days with proper prep. A whole-house interior (walls, trim, doors, ceilings — 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft) usually runs five to ten working days depending on color count, sheen changes, and how much prep is needed. We sequence rooms so you can keep using most of the house through the project.
What's the best time of year for exterior painting in Atlanta?
Spring (March through May) and fall (September through early November) are ideal — mild temperatures, lower humidity, and fewer afternoon thunderstorms. We can paint in summer but watch the weather closely; most paints require 50°F+ overnight lows and dry surfaces. Winter painting is possible on mild stretches but slower because of dry-time requirements.
How long should an exterior paint job last?
On a properly prepped exterior with premium paint, expect 7 to 10 years on hardiplank or wood siding, longer on stucco, and 5 to 7 years on heavily sun-exposed south- and west-facing walls. Trim around windows and doors, and any wood that's not properly flashed, tends to need touch-up sooner. Prep — washing, scraping, priming bare wood, caulking — drives longevity more than the paint itself.

Yes. Cabinet painting is a specialty within house painting that requires removing doors and drawer fronts, light sanding, degreasing, priming with a bonding primer, and spraying or brushing finish coats — typically two coats. Properly done, painted cabinets look factory-finished. Done quickly without proper prep, they chip within a year. We do it the long way.
