New windows can transform both the look and energy performance of your home — better daylight, lower utility bills, less outside noise, and updated curb appeal. Catalino Quality Construction provides professional window installation throughout Marietta, Roswell, and the greater Atlanta area. We install vinyl, wood, and fiberglass windows from manufacturers with strong warranty support.
Window Styles
We install all common residential window styles: double-hung (both sashes operate, the most common choice in Atlanta homes), casement (hinged at the side, opened with a crank), awning (hinged at the top, popular over kitchen sinks), sliding (horizontal sliders for wider openings), picture (fixed, for views), bay and bow (projecting from the wall, used in living and dining rooms), and specialty shapes like arched, octagonal, and round. Each style has best-use cases and we help you choose based on the room, exposure, and aesthetic.
Energy-Efficient Glass
Modern windows are dramatically more efficient than what was installed 20 years ago. Double-pane glass with a low-emissivity (low-E) coating and argon gas fill is the standard for the Atlanta climate, blocking summer solar heat while letting in visible daylight. ENERGY STAR-rated windows often qualify for utility rebates and federal tax credits. We discuss the glass package during the estimate and match it to your home's exposure and HVAC use.
Installation Process
Window installation is a flashing, sealing, and trim job as much as a glass job. We carefully remove the existing window, inspect and repair the rough opening for any rot or water damage, install proper flashing (sill pan, jamb, and head flashing) to direct water out of the wall, set the new window plumb and level, foam and seal around the unit, and complete interior and exterior trim. Caulking is the final step inside and out.
Licensed and Insured
Catalino Quality Construction is licensed through the State of Georgia and fully insured with liability and workers' compensation coverage. Robert Catalino oversees every window installation to ensure proper flashing and trim work — the details that distinguish a long-lasting installation from one that leaks within a few years.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will new windows really lower my energy bill?
Yes, particularly if you're replacing single-pane or aging aluminum-frame windows. Modern double-pane, low-E, gas-filled units typically cut window-related heat transfer by 30 to 50 percent compared to single-pane glass. The payback depends on your existing windows, the size of the project, and your HVAC use — most clients see meaningful summer cooling savings in the Atlanta climate.
Should I get full-frame or insert (pocket) replacement windows?
Insert replacement (pocket) windows are installed inside the existing frame — faster, less expensive, and ideal when the existing frame is sound. Full-frame replacement removes the old window down to the rough opening, which is necessary if the frame is rotted, undersized, or you're changing the window style. We evaluate each opening and recommend honestly.
Vinyl, wood, or fiberglass — which window material is best?
Vinyl is the most common choice — affordable, low-maintenance, energy-efficient, and available in many styles. Wood offers the most authentic look, especially for historic or upscale homes, but requires periodic painting or finishing. Fiberglass is the most durable and stable — handles temperature swings without expansion problems and accepts paint well. We carry products from major manufacturers including Andersen and Pella.
How long does a whole-house window replacement take?
A typical 10-to-15-window home takes two to three working days for installation once windows have arrived. Standard-size insert replacements average 30 to 60 minutes per window; full-frame replacements with new flashing and trim take longer. Special-order windows (custom sizes, divided lights, specialty shapes) typically have 4-to-8-week lead times from order to delivery.
