Bathroom Renovation — Complete Tear-Out & Rebuild
The old bathroom was a time capsule: fern-print wallpaper, a cultured marble vanity top, sliding frosted-glass doors on a tiled tub, and a busy brown vinyl floor. Nothing was failing catastrophically — it was just decades out of date, with mildew starting to show at the ceiling.
Everything came out. The tub gave way to a walk-in shower with a frameless glass door on brushed gold hinges, a rain head plus handheld, a tiled niche, and a marble pebble mosaic floor. The walls went floor to ceiling in glossy forest-green tile set in a vertical stack — the kind of surface that changes with the light across the day. The frosted window in the shower wall stayed, now cased in clean white trim.
The vanity side got a fluted dark-walnut cabinet under a white quartz top, a brushed gold widespread faucet, an arched gold mirror, and a triple sconce with fluted glass shades. Marble-look porcelain in a large format runs the floor. It reads like a boutique hotel bath, and every bit of it is standard trade work done carefully: tile, glass, plumbing, and paint.
