Custom Built-In Pantry
A closet with one wire shelf is storage; a closet with the right shelves everywhere is a pantry. This conversion wrapped three walls in painted built-in shelving: deep runs for bulk items and small appliances, full-height narrow columns sized to cans and spice jars so nothing gets lost two rows back, and a lower cubby dimensioned for a mini fridge that slides in flush.
Every shelf was cut to the actual room rather than the nearest stock size, so the corners work instead of wasting the deepest storage in the space. It photographs simply, and that's the point — a pantry that works is mostly the absence of wasted inches.
