Municipal Contracting
Municipal and county construction contracting in Georgia. Licensed, insured, and registered for public works in metro Atlanta. Request a quote.
Local government — county and municipal — is where most public construction work in the region actually happens. Catalino Quality Construction supports cities and counties in the metro Atlanta area with reliable, code-compliant general contracting on facility renovation, repair, and small-scope improvement projects. We are a Georgia-licensed Residential Basic Contractor with appropriate insurance, established subcontractor relationships, and a track record of completing projects on time and to specification.
Service Area and Jurisdictions
We are based in Cobb County and primarily serve municipal clients in metro Atlanta — including Marietta, Roswell, Kennesaw, Smyrna, Acworth, and unincorporated Cobb County. We will travel for project needs and have completed work in adjacent counties when scope justifies the travel.
Project Scopes
Our core scopes for municipal work include facility renovation and repair (interior and exterior), carpentry and millwork for public buildings, deck and ramp construction, finish work (paint, flooring, doors, trim), and small-scope general contracting on repair-and-renovation projects. We are not currently pursuing heavy-civil, road construction, or large vertical-build contracts; we are well-matched to small-business set-aside scope.

How We Engage with Municipal Procurement
We respond to formal solicitations issued through municipal and county procurement portals, the Georgia Procurement Registry, and direct invitations to bid. Our process: review the scope and drawings, attend the site walk, develop a detailed line-item estimate, confirm subcontractor and material pricing, and submit a complete sealed bid by deadline. We comply with prevailing wage where applicable and submit any required certified payroll documentation.
Permits and Inspections
Even for public-entity clients, building permits are typically required for construction work. We coordinate with the local building department on permit applications and inspections — see our permitting page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you registered with local government procurement systems?
Yes. We register as a vendor with municipal and county procurement offices in our service area, including Cobb County and the cities of Marietta, Roswell, Kennesaw, Smyrna, and Acworth, as well as registering with regional cooperative purchasing programs where appropriate. New registrations are completed promptly when invited to bid in jurisdictions where we are not already on file.
What scopes do you handle for municipal clients?
Our core scopes for municipal clients are facility renovation and repair, finish carpentry and millwork, deck/railing/ramp construction, light-commercial interior buildout, ADA accessibility upgrades within our license scope, and small-scope general contracting. We are best matched to projects in the size range typical of small-business set-asides and county/municipal repair-and-renovation contracts.
How quickly do you respond to municipal RFQs?
We acknowledge receipt of municipal solicitations within 2 business days and submit complete quotes within 7 to 10 business days for typical scopes. Site walks are scheduled within the bidder visit window posted in the RFQ. For emergency repair work outside formal procurement (when permitted by jurisdiction), we can typically respond same-day to scope and quote.
Do you carry bonding and required insurance for public projects?
We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance with a current Certificate of Insurance available on request and can name municipal entities as additional insured. Performance and payment bonding is available on a per-project basis through our surety relationships. Bond and insurance limits can be confirmed before bid submission.
