Detached Garage Exterior Renovation
This detached garage had good bones and a tired shell. The old vertical panel siding had gone gray where the paint wore through, the fascia boards under the gable were starting to rot, and the ribbed metal roll-up door had seen decades of use. A single dated lantern hung beside the opening.
The rebuild kept the structure and replaced the skin: dark gray lap siding with white corner boards and eave trim, a new white sectional garage door with recessed panels in a widened opening, and a new coach light at the entry. The red man door and gable end at the rear got the same siding and trim treatment. Small building, big difference — and the same scope applies to any outbuilding, shop, or shed.
