Bathroom Remodel — Tub Surround & Tile
The before photo is the middle of the job, which is the honest place to start: tub surround stripped to the studs, a new tub already set, cement board down on the floor, and the toilet flange open — the moment when a bathroom is nothing but framing and rough plumbing.
From there it was rebuilt as a clean tub-shower: large-format gray subway tile run floor to ceiling around the tub over the cement board that went in while the walls were open, brushed nickel fixtures, and a new large-tile floor.
